The Irish Voice highlights the campaign against the Offensive Behaviour Act

In an article highlighting the fear of anti-Irish racism inherent in the Offensive Behaviour Act (IV001C (1)) and an extended article in which Jeanette Findlay of FAC sets out the fundamental flawed nature of the Act (IV006C) the Irish Voice makes a timely intervention into the campaign against this pernicious piece of legislation.  A further statement against the Act is also expected to be released by Celtic Football Club this afternoon.  The clear voice of opposition must be heard by the Scottish Government before any more damage is done.

Calling all Cally and Celtic fans to unite against the Offensive Behaviour Act

FAC reps will be outside the ground from well before kick off with paper copies of the petition to the Scottish Government calling for the abolition of the Offensive Behaviour Act.  If you are able to get there early and help then please do.  Otherwise we are calling on all Celtic and Inverness  Caledonian Thistle fans to sign the petition and send a strong message to the Scottish Government that this illiberal, nonsensical, draconian, unworkable, oppressive, wasteful, expensive, farcical Act must go!
